Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SAFEGUARD TİCARET processes data in the SafeGuard mobile application and on safeguardtr.com.

1. Data we collect

  • Query data: IBAN, account or seller identifiers you submit for a risk check.
  • Account data: email address and authentication identifiers if you create an account.
  • Device and diagnostic data: device model, operating system version, crash and performance logs.
  • Reports you submit: descriptions and evidence of suspected fraud.

2. Why we process it

We process data to deliver risk verification results, detect and prevent fraud, maintain blacklists, send security alerts, provide support and improve the reliability and security of our services. We do not sell personal data.

3. Legal basis

Processing is based on performance of our service contract with you, our legitimate interest in preventing fraud, your explicit consent where required, and compliance with applicable legal obligations under Turkish law (including KVKK).

4. Sharing

Data may be shared with infrastructure and analytics providers acting as processors under contract, and with competent authorities when legally required. Risk signals shared inside the SafeGuard network are aggregated and do not expose your identity.

5. Retention

Query and report data is retained only as long as necessary for fraud prevention purposes or as required by law, after which it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

6. Security

We apply encryption in transit, access controls, logging and least-privilege practices. No system is completely immune to risk, and we continuously review our safeguards.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Requests can be sent to info@safeguardtr.com and are answered within the statutory period.

8. Children

SafeGuard is not directed at children under the age of 13.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in the application and on safeguardtr.com.
